680 Nazareth Church Road, Moore, SC (864) 576-8034
The Mission of Nazareth Presbyterian Church is to worship and glorify God and to make disciples for Christ.
We worship each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Fellowship takes place at 9:00 a.m., followed by Sunday School at 9:30. We have four adult classes and classes for children and youth of every age. Following the example of our Lord Jesus Christ we welcome any and all to participate in the Body of Christ in this place. We have a wide variety of opportunities for worship, learning, service, mission and fellowship for people of every age.
Nazareth is a part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the largest Presbyterian Denomination in the country. We are members of the Foothills Presbytery, which consists of Anderson, Oconee, Pickens, Greenville, Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties. We seek to serve the Lord in every way that we can as a local church and on a Presbytery and national level.
When we gather as Nazareth church, we continue the 250-year history of worship on this land, begun by Scots Presbyterians in 1765. Our sanctuary, built in 1832, is the oldest continuous-use public facility in Spartanburg County. Proud of this legacy, we want to serve God and share God’s gracious goodness today and into the future.
We invite you to come visit us, worship with us and take part in our mission here as we seek to glorify God and make disciples for Christ.
