The Session voted to continue suspension of all face-to-face activities at Nazareth through June 15. The Session will meet on June 16 for our regular meeting. We will review this decision based on the recommendations of the governor and president at that time. Until then, we hope you will continue to worship with us through You Tube.
Many thanks to those who continue to faithfully fulfill your financial commitments and to send money for Pennies for Hunger and other offerings.
Nazareth is a wonderful group of disciples and I know God is smiling at the faithfulness and dedication to discipleship that you exhibit.
I am blessed to be a part of this family.
Please let the church office know if you need anything.

(March 30 Update) Nazareth has suspended all activities through the end of April. While our gatherings have been suspended, our ministry has not! We plan to find creative ways to invite members, visitors, and friends of Nazareth to continue to share as fully as possible in life and ministry.

Office staff will continue to be available during posted office hours of 9-2 Monday-Thursday. Office staff may not be physically on campus, but are available by phone and email. Please refer to your eblast for this week for specific cell phone information.

An recording of the sermon for each week will be available by Sunday morning at 10:30. We continue with the “Called to More” series. We suggest you gather your family together on Sunday morning at 10:30 and listen to the message. Each week I will offer prayers before and after the sermon, and, upon request, will sing the benediction.

Each Thursday in the eblast, DJ will have links to family-oriented activities that include devotional suggestions as well as discussion questions based on the chosen Scripture for the week.

Remember to share with the church office or contact any elder with needs you have or hear about. We will be checking emails, voice mails, texts and responding regularly.

We continue our Missions. Our mission for this month is items for the bags for the homeless. These donations can be dropped off in red bin in the fellowship hall. If you do not have a door code, please call before you come to be sure someone is in the office. Also, this suspension covers our monthly “Pennies for Hunger” Sunday, so consider dropping a check in the mail or by the office for this important ministry. We still have maintenance and administrative costs, so please do not forget about your planned giving.

I am grateful for the wisdom, compassion and unity of the Session and staff at Nazareth. We are truly blessed to be part of such a caring and compassionate church family. We will continue to monitor suggestions from the CDC and will keep you updated.

Take care of yourselves, take care of each other, and please join us in mutual prayer for God’s protection, care, and blessing.
